Weekend April 1 -3 /2016

I feel like its been a while since I wrote a proper weekend itinerary for you! You may remember I went to Hawaii with my family and that was amazing, so if you haven't checked out my top five travel tips with your kids, check out my Travel tab!

With that said go ahead and check out your family friendly weekend itinerary in Dallas, TX.

Thursday Night!

Check out Oddfellows for the $5 Cheeseburger special going on. Also you can't forget LIVE music from the people over at Spinster! $5 Cheeseburgers will be from 3-10pm and Live Music from 7-10pm! Y'all go out with the kids and eat some good burgers and jam out! Or leave the kids home with a babysitter and have a date night!

Friday April 1st

No April fools here y'all! This Friday walk into any Krispy Kreme doughnut store and get a FREE glazed doughnut! This is to celebrate the Doughnut Harvest that is taking place that day! This is a fun event that I know everyone in the family will like!

Saturday April 2nd

1. Check out the Crow Collection in Downtown Dallas for Free activities all Day! Enjoy the SENsational SEN, its is the newest exhibit at the Center! Please follow the link for all the Fun going on!

2. Head down to the Dallas Farmers Market! It has a new makeover and I know that you will enjoy checking out the new / old vendors and some yummy food that is served on site as well!

3. I am in awe of how cool the South Irving library is! The children's library is worth checking out. They have a mini preschool setup for the kids like building blocks, mini kitchen activity and arts and craft. You can see that a lot of thought went into the children's area! If you want to see what an amazing library looks like come here this Saturday! The Library is showcasing the Family Earth day Film! a story about the Legend of Washington Irving.

Good Eaten Here!

Two locations!

*Chicken and Waffles were really good! A great mix of sweet and savory! Yummy

 * The Mac and Cheeses was ok. I don't think we will order this one again. It just tasted a little bland for me.

- have fun
