East Hampton Sandwich Co. / Dallas

 Have you tried out East Hampton Sandwich CO. Take the time this weekend to go and check it out. The atmosphere is very cozy and chill. I ordered a juicy burger that didn't disappoint and of course some yummy fruit. Avoid the lunch rush and go early or a little after the big crowds. My son and I had a pleasant time.

Grapevine, TX
1. Get ready for some fun outdoors! Check out the 40th Annual Nash Farms Easter Egg Hunt. There will be lots of kid friendly activities like hayrides, face paintings and of course the egg hunt. The egg hunt will be divided by age groups to ensure that all kids will have fun. Bring your cameras and have a blast with the kiddos. All are FREE events, March 28, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM, follow the link for event times. 

Bass Pro in Grapevine/Garland
1. Bass Pro Shop at both locations will have Easter activities inside and outdoors. Inside, take a FREE picture with the Easter bunny, and and an Easter egg hunt will take place at 2pm outdoors. Crafts will also be available throughout the day. Easter activities will be held March 28 - April 5. Follow the link for times and details on the events. 

Firewheel Town East Center, Garland,TX
1. Fun happenings at the Firewheel Town East Center. This year the KidFest has been focusing on their "Keep it Moving" theme. This event will have local exhibitors for the Frontier of Flight Museum, Dallas Summer Musicals, and the Dallas Arboretum. Also look out for the Easter Egg Hunt going on March 28 at 11:15am, bags will be provided while supplies last.

Week of / March 16-22, 2015 / Arlington and Plano

1. The 4th Annual Art on The Greene will be an awesome event to attend with the family. There will be over 80 art vendors, music, and of course some good eats. The location is on the green lawn between the Cowboys and Rangers stadiums. Take lawn chairs or a blanket and soak in some needed sun and relaxation with the family.

Plano, TX 
1. The 2015 Dallas Cowboys Fan Fest will be this Saturday, 12-5pm, in the city of Plano. There will be a lot of family friendly activities including food trucks, autograph signing, kids area and great music. The festival is FREE and all proceeds will be benefiting the Single Parent Foundation. This is a fun way to see all the Dallas Cowboys fans and be apart of something great. Wear your cowboys swag of course! 

Friday Night
Spring 'til' Midnight at the Nasher is my favorite event to do without kids. This event will have live music and a screening of the movie Twenty Feet from Stardom (PG-13). Enjoy this kid free night!

Spring Break Edition!

Ft. Worth
1. Get out to FT. Worth and head over to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. This place is a gem to have in our own state of Texas. Take advantage of the spring break session tours that go on till this Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.

2. Have lunch/dinner at the Costa Vida in Colleyville. You will be calling this place your new Tex-Mex favorite! Enjoy some of the pulled pork on anything you choose! YUMMY place. Take the time and venture out to a new city and try something new and experience change! 

1. YAY for the DFW Founders Plaza! This is an all time favorite for our family. Its FREE to watch planes land and take off. Pack a lunch and listen to the air traffic controllers over the PA speakers as they guide the planes across the skies of Texas! 

ST. Patrick's Day/Dallas
1. Get the whole family loaded in the car and get ready for a BIG St. Patrick's Day parade. Greenville Ave will host this fun event on Saturday morning, follow the link for the route of the parade! Get a good spot and watch floats, bands and beads being tossed your way! Remember to wear your GREEN!

Week of / March 2-8, 2015 / Dallas - Oak cliff


Dallas, TX

1. Let's all kick off the spring break festivities this weekend in Dallas. Head down to the Dallas Arts District for the biggest outdoor collaboration of museums. Participating museums will include the Asian Crow Collection, Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Art Museum, and the Klyde Warren Park. Come hungry, there will be plenty of food trucks on site. Oak cliff, TX

1. Bring your bikes down to Oak cliff for a family day at Paletas y Bicicletas! (Bicycles and Ice Cream). This event will have the kids help in cleaning up the Kidd Springs Park and a ride through the Bishop Arts District! This event will have food, mariachi bands and of course a piƱata!
