Week of / January 19-25, 2015 /

1. Where will your family go for a fun dinner/dessert this weekend? I have thought of a few places you have to try out!

- Liberty Burger-
*This place has scrumptious burgers, packed full with flavors and a variety of toppings! Don't be alarmed when you see a knife stabbed in the middle of your burger! Grab a delicious shake as well.

-Carnival Bakers Ice Cream-
*Check out this hidden gem on lower Greenville. This walk up window ice cream shop dishes out some great flavors of ice cream. It will be hard to choose your favorite so have each family member get something different and share!

-Pokey O's-
*Cookie ice cream sandwich at Pokey O's is a place that's worth trying. They have a variety of cookies and flavors of ice cream to choose from.

*This place offers that home style comfort food. Great place to take the whole family and everyone will leave satisfied. Breakfast is also worth trying.

Week of / January 12- 18th, 2015 / Dallas

1. Head out to the REI in Dallas on the 635! REI has a two story climbing wall that the kids will enjoy. It's a great way for kids to challenge themselves and parents to cheer them on. The cost is $5 dollars without a REI membership card. Speak with an associate if you are interested in a store membership.

2. Village on the Parkway is nearby in Addison and  has many options for great dining. The two that I recommend is the Dream Cafe and Vertskebap. These two restaurants are amazing. Dream Cafe offers an American style menu that's pleasing. The Vertskebap is a European style eatery that offers homemade fries and a pita style blend of meats and veggies!

Week of / January 5-11 2015 / Dallas - Metroplex

I am excited to be back with weekend itinerary updates, that keep your weekends entertaining. In_dfw will continue to support families by bringing them together and share in fun experiences. Look out for fun updates to the blog this year, let's keep in_dfw on the radar and keep sharing this blog with your friends.

This Week!

1. The weather this weekend calls for a gloomy afternoon. So take the fun indoors and head out to Dave and Busters! There are three locations in the metroplex. This is a fully decked out arcade that ranges in games that the whole family will enjoy. Get as many tickets as you can get and have the kids walk away with a wacky prize!

*This location has a restaurant that is convenient, but if you want to eat out here is where I recommend.

2. For some good eating go to Jake's-Hamburgers on Henderson Ave (they have several other locations in the metroplex). This place serves up the yummiest cheese fries. The burgers are delicious and worth it to eat here. YUM
