Things to do in DFW this weekend.

The Weekend is fast approaching. Here is an Itinerary for an afternoon in the city of Grapevine, TX that the whole family can enjoy.

1. Have Lunch at the Weinberger's Deli on Main street in grapevine.I would recommend getting the Detroit Style Gyro or any special of the day. The chocolate cookies are made in house. YUM!

2. Walk next door to get some gourmet popcorn at Cassie's to snack on later in the evening. They have a lot of great flavors, but if you are undecided you can grab some samples first and decide on a flavor that the whole family will agree on.

3.  Take a drive to the Grapevine Mills Mall and cool off in the AC and take the kids on a carousel ride near the food court. Bring some bills because cards are not accepted at the carousel. Mom can enjoy some retail therapy and kids can enjoy some fun at the same time. The Grapevine mall is a big outlet with a wide variety of shops like, Micheal Kors, Gap, H&M, and other attractions like LEGOLAND and Sea Life Indoor Aquarium

4. For dinner, go to Grimaldi's Pizza for some authentic New York style pizza.I recommend sitting out in the patio, but if its to Hot just sit inside because the action near the brick oven is cool to see. It's been known to offer a New York style of pizza.

**An early dinner will be best if you want to beat the evening rush.

5. For an evening adventure, go to the Founders Plaza Observation Area near the North entrance to DFW airport and watch the airplanes take off and land. You can enjoy your popcorn and bottled water while listening to a live feed of the air traffic controller guiding the planes in and out of the airport. This will be a great photo op for the family, so remember to bring your camera.

**Open from dawn to dusk.
